The How:

So how can I use this strategy to leverage my own product or service in on on abrasive way that doesn't make me come off cheesy and desperate? I have no idea! But I have seen it work. I am a big fan of the Leo Laporte Tech Guy radio show that I listen to live all most every weekend. I would have to say that there are a lot of people that use this as a launching platform for the personal blogs, podcasts or video's that you can find on YouTube. Leo is a very nice guy and he loves to support people that are looking to create their own media.

Can I upgrade from Windows 7 RC to Windows 7?

This is a very common question that I get all of the time. Let’s talk for a minute about the difference between upgrading and a fresh install. An upgrade is where you rewrite data over an existing full functioning operating system without having to back up your exiting data. Sounds pretty nice but you are inviting a bunch of incompatibility issues down the road. Upgrading can be done successfully only if you are running Windows Vista. And you will need to stay in within your edition family. So if you have Vista Home you cannot upgrade to Windows 7 Premium you could only update to Windows 7 home edition.
